Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions


The terms of our invoices are 7 days. A $5 late fee will be added to late invoices. After 14 days ( unless an alternative arrangement has been made ) the invoice will be sent to a debt collection agency and a $150 recovery fee added.

Cancellations for one off jobs must be made 48 hours prior.

It is the clients responsibility to have the areas to be serviced clear of  toys, furniture, pet waste, rubbish etc.

Wellington Mowing will not be held responsible for any damage to any telecommunication fiber infrastructure. (we are aware that chorus are installing cables in places were line trimmers may be operated ).

Wellington Mowing will not be held responsible for any damage to any amenities infrastructure ( plumbing / power / telecommunications ) that has not been brought to our attention by the client and is not installed with out appropriate protection.

Wellington Mowing will not be held responsible for any damage to any items including furniture / bikes / vehicles / personal items / washing within 5 meters of the areas being serviced.

Wellington Mowing will not be held responsible for any damage to any windows ( house / cars / glass houses etc ) under any circumstances. ( This is mainly due to the fact contractors are contaminating lawns with fill ( stones ) and other building waste creating un reasonable risk to Wellington Mowing ).

The Client shall mark clearly any plants that are not to be removed / cut that are not in an obviously marked  / demarcated garden.

​

The Client shall be responsible for the removal of any objects e.g. toys, furniture, pet waste, rubbish etc. that will hinder the Contractor in performing under this agreement.

The Client shall keep all pets / children secured inside a building or fenced area and shall keep people away from the Contractor’s area of work for the safety of all parties concerned whilst the Contractor is performing services.

Wellington Mowing only deals in green waste. The client will be responsible for all rubbish that is on the property and keeping it in a waste bin.

The client shale be responsible and liable for any damages to Wellington Mowing staff / contractors arising from any Glass / metal / sharp objects /materials in the areas to be serviced. 

If you mow your lawns yourself befor we are due to arrive without notification, we will will still mow and charge for the full amount.

Seasonal Mowing Terms and Conditions


The frequency for mowing is based around fortnightly through Spring / Summer and monthly through Winter and Spring. The actual frequency of mowing will be determined by seasonal variation and weather conditions.
A minimum of two weeks notice is required for cancellations.
If the service is cancelled there may be an additional charge / credit which will be sent out as a separate invoice / credit depending on which point in the yearly mowing cycle you cancel. If its an invoice it will be issued as per our main terms and conditions above.


This service is carried out as per our main terms and conditions above.
We don’t accept putting payments on hold if you are getting landscaping or other work done and want to put the mowing on hold – For example If mowing is stopped for 2 months, the amount of work it will take to remove the grass that has grown during that time, will be similar in cost to the amount of payments that have accrued in that time. If you don’t want to continue payments in such an event the service must be cancelled. We will be more than happy to start the service again once the work is complete but the invoice to get the property back in shape will be the same as the amount that would have accrued during the cancellation.
